March 9, 2016 Dinner and Meeting
Speaker: Mr. Dan Mulligan Director of Global Container Terminals USA
Topic: Marine Terminal Operations: Speeding Up the Process
Dan Mulligan
Director, Global Container Terminals USA
Marine Terminal Operators (MTOs) face challenges today, but will face a whole new set of challenges in the future when the larger vessels are in full swing. All MTOs are continuously making operational and infrastructure changes and improvements to meet the needs of the shipping community. Shippers need to do the same. Dan Mulligan (Director, Sales and Marketing for GCT USA, LP) will provide us with the MTO's perspective on how to prepare for the future, as well as what operators are doing to deal with the changes. Included in the discussion will be how GCT Bayonne and GCT New York will handle their role in the new IMO/SOLAS regulations that require each container to have a verified gross mass.
