US Customs Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) and
Single Window Entries and Automated Export System (AES)

Speaker: Ms. Judy Kearney of Network Brokers

This event will cover updates to the US Customs Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) and Single Window Entries and  Automated Export System (AES) will be discussed.

US Customs in an effort to streamline the customs entry process has initiated a number of programs - one focused on imports and the other on exports- the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) and the Automated Export System ( AES),respectively.  The government's  aim is to provide a single entry point - through which the trade community will report imports and exports and the government will determine admissibility. Through ACE as the single window, manual processes will be streamlined and automated, paper will be eliminated, and the trade community will be able to more easily and efficiently comply with U.S. laws and regulations.  Similarly, for exports - AES provides a central point though which all export data  required by various government agencies such as the FDA can be seamlessly filed.

With her extensive experience in customs compliance, Ms Kearneys will highlight the programs, describe their benefits and share her knowledge of the increasing complex field of international trade.
